Ann-Kathrin Klink has her own law office specializing on international contract law in the life science industry. Prior to opening her own office she was working as legal counsel with LTS LOHMANN Therapie-Systeme AG for six years. Besides providing general legal services at LTS to all departments and the board of directors, her main focus was on international contracts (licensing, manufacturing and supply, and development agreements), many of which resulted in successful products on the market today. She was also responsible for legal matters at the affiliated companies working in the cosmetic and environmental field. In addition, she was responsible as legal counsel for the US affiliation in New Jersey. Furthermore, she led the insurance department and was responsible for preparing stockholder meetings and the administration of the stocks.
Ann Klink went to schools in the USA and Germany and graduated in law from the University of Bonn. Thereafter she worked as a civil servant for the State of Rhineland-Palatinate and obtained her Assessor in law. Besides practicing in Germany she also worked for a law firm in Berkeley, California, providing her essential experiences in European and North-American legal practice. Furthermore she contributed to the book »Starting a Business in the Life-Sciences: From idea to Market« on the subjects contractual strategies and licensing. She holds an international patent.
